Our story
Born out of a very specific frustration.
Charlotte Club started in 2019 as a private group chat between seven friends who were tired of finding out about the best nights of the year through Instagram stories, after the fact. Every weekend, the same conversation: "Where did everyone go last night?" The answer was almost always a basement, a back room, or a pop-up that no algorithm was going to surface.
So we built the room we wanted to be in. A discreet, members-only way to track the city's real nightlife — the warehouse shows in Belmont, the late-night sets at The Milestone, the secret anniversaries at Amos' Southend, the small-room techno parties tucked into industrial parks. Five years and a few thousand members later, Charlotte Club is still run by people who go out five nights a week and write about what they actually saw.
What we believe
Three rules for the night.
Charlotte's scene is more interesting than the headlines let on. Our only job is to find the nights that are actually worth leaving the house for — and to make sure the right people know about them.
Curated, never crowded
Membership is invite-based and capped. We're not trying to be the biggest nightlife platform in the city — we're trying to be the most trusted room in it. Quality of the list beats size of the list, always.
Members move first
Early access to venue takeovers, table reservations at packed rooms, and the occasional 3 a.m. text that begins with "you up? warehouse on Millbrook." The signal lives in the group.

Owns the Saturday morning recap. Has personally reviewed every cocktail menu at every bar in South End and is not above rating the bathroom.
